True Luna: Rejected by My Mate by Tessa Lilly is a book about wolves/people who inhabit various places in the forest/small town. They are organized in groups with each group led by an Alpha and a Beta. The Alpha’s mate is called Luna. There are rogue wolves who are always trying to attack the various packs. I have not figured out everything about the wolves/people, but I was able to gather enough information from the book to enjoy the novel.
Emma (sister to Andrew, the Beta, second in command) turned 18 and was allowed to turn into her wolf as part of the celebration. This was also the time for Emma when she was able to identify her chosen mate, the Alpha (Logan) of her pack. He decides that she will not be strong enough to be his Luna and rejects her. This starts a series of events where Emma was kidnapped and tortured, Logan and Andrew searched for her along with all their warriors/wolves and people from the nearby pack.
The book is a romance novel between Emma and Logan. Their struggle to find each other and then for Emma to learn to trust Logan was not easy. The novel was a thriller/adventure and brought the reader on a ride. While this book was outside my usual read. I did enjoy the novel, enough to search for it on Amazon and to buy the second book in the series as well. True Luna: Rejected by My Mate by Tessa Lilly was an interesting book that was a surprise to me.
