This Book Made Me Think of You by Libby Page was a wonderful read and worth the wait on Libby! (Online app from the library for electronic copies of books.) The novel, while at heart is a year long goodbye to Tilly from her dead husband, it is also a love story to the future and embracing what life gives you even when things are hard.
Tilly’s husband, Joe, died young. She has been trying to just survive after his death until a local bookstore called her and asked her to come pick up the book that was on order for her. Tilly knew she didn’t have a book on order, but found out her late husband, Joe had ordered a book for her. Really he ordered a book a month for a year hoping to help her get over his loss. Each book was unique and was intended to help her move on. (Not that she knew that at the time.)
The novel was a masterpiece. It was clear that Joe knew her and loved her dearly. The books were stepping stones which she needed. I loved how the various characters in the books supported her. This Book Made Me Think of You by Libby Page was a fabulous read.
