The Midnight Library by Matt Haig is a book with a wonderful concept. What happens if you could choose to make another choice and live that life? What choices would you make? Why would you choose them?
Nora Seed is struggling with life. She has made some choices she is second guessing, but more importantly she is ready to be done with this life. She ends up at the Midnight Library. A place run by her favorite librarian from her childhood. The library is quite large and offers her a chance to live if she has done something differently. As you might expect, not everything is as anticipated.
The novel allows the reader to see how Nora’s life might be different, but more importantly , it shows Nora what her life might be or have been. The book is poignant and heartfelt. The Midnight Library by Matt Haig is a special read.
