Sweet Rescue: K9 Heroes by Chris Keniston is the next/last book in the Sweet Family Series. The series focuses on the Sweet Family and their ranch in Texas. In this novel, Josh Colman goes to the ranch to heal after being in an explosion that disturbed his equilibrium. He needs time to recuperate in a safe place. Katie Lawford headed to the ranch at the suggestion of her friend since her job for the government stopped when the government was shut down. Katie likes being busy and hates being still.
Katie and Josh are both at the ranch when a call comes in. There is a need for someone to take in a healing K9 trained dog. The problem was the dog was struggling with the people who were available. As the dog and Josh (soldier) heal, they make a strong connection. Katie and Josh work together with the dog to help track a missing child.
I love Chris Keniston’s books. I love the community she makes and shares in her books. Her love stories are wonderful reads. Sweet Rescue: K9 Rescue is a good read.
