Snuggling with books

So my friends…  I am not the only person who stops reading when a book is not my cup of tea!  It is fabulous to know that I have friends and readers that do the same thing.  One friend said if a book doesn’t feel right, she doesn’t read it, but in her next statement she also said her book group often chooses books outside of her comfort zone, so she tries them.  I now wonder if the answers were to stop reading, because we are all women “of a certain age”.

This week I started an older series by Christine Feehan.  This is an author I read for another series (MC) so I am trying out the series about the Drake sisters.  I am liking it so far. There are 7 books in the series and they are from the early 2000.  (I just realized that is 20 years ago – Oh My!)

For a four day week, it was long and hard.  I also went in today to work on paperwork.  I am looking forward to teaching the new class – Technology and Ancient Civilizations.  So far the kids are finding it interesting.

Meanwhile, we have had a balmy weekend with temperatures in the 30s.  Last week we had days that started out 12 – 15 degrees below zero.  That is so cold.  Wearing layers is the only way to stay warm, except for snuggling under blankets with the kitties while reading!  That is the best!

Elise has been so busy this week.  She sent in the second part of an interview with Candance Irving.  This time the interview is focused on the series, Deception Point Series.  On top of that she sent in a book review called Arctic Pursuit by Anna J Stewart.

Hope you all find time to snuggle and read!
