New Blog: Add a bit of magic

It’s another snowstorm.  This one at least is quite unique in that it contains several different types of precipitation.  First it snowed, then sleet, then frozen rain, and rain.  I’ve noticed that a lot of schools are going with two hour delays for tomorrow…  I can only hope as the plow has not even come by.

This week I finished reading the Drake Sister Series.  WOW.  There is nothing like magical sisters finding their happily ever after with smoking hot alpha males.  Especially since the magic is stronger when they are together.  I liked the setting in Northern California in a small town. I am sure they are not for everyone, but I really enjoyed the novels.

I am now working on another series called Sea Haven/ Sisters of the Heart.  Although the books have some very similar elements with location, magic and alpha men.  All the alpha men are Prakenskii brothers, men that were taught to kill and put up with every kind of hardship to make their job harder. It is clear that they were written by the same author, with story lines that are different, but along the same lines.  I am enjoying this series.

I have a serious list of books to read once this series is done.  I have five books to read for March and ten books in April (I know, what was I thinking?) The books are in various genres, so be ready.

Elise sent in a guest review of MIdnight on the Scottish Shore by Sarah Sudin.  The book is a combination of WWII, spies, espionage and family drama.  The fact it is set in Scotland is just icing on the cake.  Elise also sent in an interview with Lisa Childs and two of her books Hostage Security and A Match for the Sheriff.  It is great reading!

Take some time to read!
