Jigsaw by Jonathan Kellerman is the newest of the Alex Delaware novels. It is the 41st book in the series. Milo Sturgis and Alex Delaware work together to doggedly solve the unsolvable crimes. Milo being a lieutenant and Alex being a psychologist.
Milo caught a homicide that he thought was a simple set of circumstances, but it turns out to be much more than expected. Then he caught another case about a detective who seemed to be missing, until they opened the freezer. Suddenly Milo has two cases that are unusual and do not seem to have any clarity. Milo contacts Alex looking for help and insight to what he sees.
Together Milo and Alex attempt to make connections and find clear information. On top of everything the second homicide’s home was a hoarder’s paradise with various envelopes of monies. Shockingly they find a tenuous connection and realize they are missing another person.
Jigsaw by Jonathan Kellerman is a crime drama with twists and turns that just don’t end. It is a good read.
