Death at a Scottish Wedding by Lucy Connelly is the second novel in a wonderful series, Scottish Isle Mystery. The novel’s main character is Dr. Emilia McRoy, who is at the wedding of one of her new friends.
The book is set at the castle in the midst of a huge snowstorm, so the mystery can only contain the people who are presently at the castle. Murder by poisoning and general mayhem are on the docket for the young couple and their family. Luckily Em is there and is able to help solve the crime, if she doesn’t get killed before the wedding.
I picked this book to read after I enjoyed the first one so much. I love the quirky characters and the pace of the novel. I am fascinated by all the traditions at the wedding and the mystery around them. Death at a Scottish Wedding by Lucy Connelly is a good read.
