Death at a Scottish Christmas by Lucy Connelly is the third novel in a wonderful series, Scottish Isle Mystery. The novel’s main character is Dr. Emilia McRoy, who is celebrating Christmas with her new friends. The town has a number of festivities for the month of December to celebrate the diversity of people’s beliefs in December.
The cosy mystery focused on the death of a famous lead singer in a band. Not only did the lead singer die, but it was in town and both Em and Ewan are on the case. So many people to question, so many opinions about what happened. The band was going on a World Tour with their new music and the lead singer is dead. There is a snowstorm which shuts the passes out of town and causes even more mayhem.
This novel was the best so far. Maybe because I was getting to know all the people and starting to form relationships with them. I loved how the characters help the town and each other whenever someone needs help. Dr Emilia McRoy is a gifted doctor to the town! Death at a Scottish Christmas by Lucy Connelly was a really good read!
