This is a book that I reread, as it fit two boxes on my July Bingo board. Still Love Kristen Ashley. This book is not for everyone as it does include various triggers for some people.
Deacon by Kristen Ashley is the fourth book in her The Unfinished Heroes Series and perhaps is my favorite of this series – even over Knight, which says a lot!
Deacon works in the same shadow world as the other unfinished heroes – raw, dirty, shadows. The rules are different and the consequences more severe. Life is harsh. Deacon survived by no home, no connections, and no name. He is totally off the grid, until he sees Cassidy and slowly things change. Together they are HOT. The ‘badassness’ of Deacon with the terse answers and the sassiness of Cassidy make this book!
Thanks for the off the grid men and their women in The Unfinished Heroes. Kristen Ashley has told us that this will be the final book in this series. I am not thinking she means it. Wait until YOU read the end then we can talk…
