Anatomy of an Alibi is quite twisted read. The book by Ashley Elston introduces us to a number of people who all seem to be connected in familiar or causal ways. There are two murders, one in the past and one in the present. There are some really negative characters who are all about power and money. There are some really naive people who do not see the big picture and some people who are neither good nor bad.
Camille Bayliss knew something was going on. She just wasn’t sure exactly what her husband, Ben, was up to. Dirty deeds for sure but he kept track of her movements, so she needed help. Aubrey Price has agreed to exchange places for one day. That’s when the second murder happened. Everyone is suspect, and not everyone has an alibi.
The book is much more complex than the easy description from above. Every action causes another action and slowly the information slowly eeks out as you work madly to figure out the details.The story keeps your attention from the beginning to the end. It is clear that there are stories within the larger story, unexpected twists, and interesting turns.
Anatomy of an Alibi by Ashley Elston is a thrilling read.
