Mad About You by Heidi Stephens is a fun romp with a main character that is looking for a new start. A lost job and needing a place to go, Megan moves back home. She is middle aged and is not certain what is next for her. As a favor, she starts walking dogs for an elderly client of her mothers.This changes everything.
Suddenly Megan has a home and dogs and money to start again. As she plots a new course, she meets various people who form a posse. Best of all she meets Ed, the local Veterinarian. I love how Ed and Megan actually speak with each other and talk through misunderstandings. I love how Megan and Ed make sure there is room for everyone. I love watching characters who are quirky and unique find bonds and grow.
I am MAD for Mad About You by Heidi Stephens! (So much so that I downloaded a previous book of hers to read.) I found the entire book delightful and poignant and just SO GOOD.
