Lead Me Home by Catherine Bybee

Lead Me Home by Cathrine Bybee is a romance with a strong element of dealing with family. This is labeled as the first book in a new series called Queen Anne Hill.  Luna Canning is a forensic accountant.  For her numbers don’t lie, she is successful in her career.  Luna and her siblings have inherited their grandmother’s house.  For now, she is living there with a roommate.

The house needs a new roof and just to keep Luna on her toes, her car was stolen from the airport.  A new person in Luna’s life is Nate Warren, they are working on a case together tracing some money for a client.  He is a PI and a former FBI agent.  Nate jumps in to help Luna about her car.  Soon he is helping with other things too.

Luna’s mother shows up and expects to stay “for a while”.  She seems to be a pill until her true colors show up.  Things are hard for Luna while she is there until things spiral out of control.

According to the author, the novel does portray some aspects of  her early life with her mother.  I love Catherine Bybee’s novels. Her writing is poignant and full of life.  Lead Me Home by Catherine Bybee is a good read.
