Storm Warning by James Byrne is the fourth book in the series that features Dez Limerick as the main character. And what a character he is!
Each book is another episode in his ‘retirement.’
Not much is known about his background. He is retired and exploring different adventures he can take. He travels with his bass guitar and seems to be someone you can use when you are in a bad place. What you do know is that he is a gatekeeper! A gatekeeper who can seem to open any gate and keep it open as long as it is needed.
Of course those “skills” can be used in many ways and his ability to troubleshoot and repair almost anything. Often while people are trying to kill him or his team. Dez has an incredible memory and vocabulary and you are never quite sure what is going to happen next.
I think this series about Dez Limerick is a riot. I have enjoyed each book, and I find the anticipation for each new book increases as the series goes on! There is a bit of tongue and cheek humor. Storm Warning by James Byrne is a great read.
