Summer with My Cowboy by Linda Lael Miller and Maisey Yates is made up of two novellas.
Linda Lael Miller wrote the novella called Cowboy Wanted. Maisey Yates wrote the novella called One More Summer With You. These two authors have banned together to write other books. Both authors are able to encapsulate a story in fewer words, so you do feel satisfied with the story.
Cowboy Wanted by Linda Lael Miller highlights the story of Kendra and Gage. Kendra has survived a horrid divorce and has moved home to Copper Ridge to start again. Gage is a former rodeo star and then morphed into a Hollywood stunt man. He has decided that it is time to run a ranch. Both of them notice each other and once it starts, it is hard to stop the momentum.
Maisey Yates wrote One More Summer With You. Jane was a troubled youth and as a teen spent time at Camp Low Echo which is where she met Spencer, her first love. Now it has been 15 years and Jane is at a changing point in her life so she returns to Camp Low Echo as a counselor. Spencer has been back for a month every summer. He has formed a relationship with the owner of the camp. He has made it a mission to work with troubled youths. Together they find the spark and know how they need to move forward.
Both novellas are love stories with older main characters who have experienced the world. To me both stories were well written and I enjoyed both. Summer with My Cowboy is a fun romantic read.
