Leave It up To Love by Kristen Woodson Harvey is a short story. I enjoy short stories so I was happy that I was able to get on First Books on Amazon Prime. The novella is a lovely story about writing and a love story mixed together.
Elizabeth Lancaster is the queen of romance novels, until her husband dies and now all she can do is look at blank pages. Nothing comes to her, no matter how much she wants to write, she cannot. The publisher and her son lean on her to use a ghost writer. It was a hard sell.
Lila Everwood is determined to write her own romance novels. She has finished writing her own novel and has dreams of it being published, until it is turned down. Only it was not totally turned down, instead she was asked to ghost write for Elizabeth Lancaster! It was a hard sell.
Together, they worked on a novel. Meanwhile Lila and Grady (Elizabeth’s son and her agent) are very interested in each other. Sparks fly. Leave It up To Love by Kristen Woodson Harvey is a fun short story to read.
