Free Falling by Jill Shalvis

Free Falling by Jill Shalvis is the second book in the Colburn Brothers Series.  The main characters were enemies in college, at least according to Emma Sumner.  Now in her first job she needs to play nice because she is working with Caleb Colburn.  UGH.  Neither is particularly enamored working with each other, but it is what it is.

The problem for Emma is she does not have a place to live, nor the money saved up for an apartment, after the fire wiped her out.  This is something she intends to keep quiet, but it is hard with Caleb showing up at all hours on their build.

Caleb and his brothers have taken on a big job and intend to see it finished with quality work, however, it seems that someone is working against them and they don’t know why.  Add to the mix that Caleb and Emma seem to be sparking off each other, well, denial is a real thing.

Jill Shalvis writes contemporary romance like no other!  Her characters are fun, sometimes complicated, sometimes overthink things to death types.  I love how she manages to keep writing characters that are just so good together.  I like her sparks of humor in her novels as well.

Free Falling by Jill Shalvis is a great read.
