Seven Reasons to Murder Your Dinner Guests by KJ Whittle is a fascinating novel leading the reader on a journey. The characters from the first were interesting and varied. They were well drawn and allowed the reader to picture them in their mind. The layout of the novel just dragged people deeper to the various conspiracies and theories.
The book opens with a dinner party for seven people who received an invitation that gave no clues. The dinner consisted of wonderful food, elaborate presentation, loads of wine and at the end a card. The card was the kicker as it stated the age they would die. The policeman, Melvin, offered to look into who gave the party. Within a couple of days, Stella, the U-tuber, had died.
The book was layer upon layer of deception and confusion. I found myself trying to make associations to figure out the clues. (I even made a case map on paper to help me.) The end had a kick and was surprising. Seven Reasons to Murder Your Dinner Guests by KJ Whittle was a good read!
