This holiday season readers should think about finding this book. It is heartwarming but also highlights why someone should make a special home for a dog stuck in a shelter.

I’ve been busy collecting the necessary supplies. I’ve never done this project before, so I have my fingers crossed that it goes well. Puppy Love & Snowflake Kisses by Jennifer Faye has Belle Sinclair recently adopting a stray puppy. It was love at first snuggle. He is the best Christmas present ever. “I wrote Belle to have a whole town of friends. But her heart is guarded because of her past loss. And she is not exactly a rule follower. She thinks there’s wiggle room when it comes to rules. After adopting Odie, she realized that besides playing fetch and eating his favorite thing to do is to curl up on Belle’s lap in the evening and go to sleep while she watches a movie.”
Yet, her Christmas joy is hampered by Sheriff Parker Bishop who always seems to be there when she commits traffic violations. “I wanted to write him as a total rule follower. He thinks that life is black and white, that is until he gets to know Belle better. She shows him that life is made up of shades of gray. And yes, he is protective, especially of those he cares about.”
But after Belle’s puppy goes missing, she calls the Sheriff for help. Slowly they begin to feel the attraction between them and work together to make sure Odie is found safe and sound.
This book hasdeception/pain, love/loss, secrets/truths, hope/redemption that mixed creates a wonderful plot.
