Sweet Tomorrows by Chris Keniston is not the last book in this series (PHEW). There are at least two more that will answer all the questions about the thefts at the ranch. This book is about the last of the Sweet children to marry.
Kade is in the military. He came home to investigate how the ranch and his siblings were doing. While he was at home, a friend asked him to be his ‘best man’ at a wedding. Well, the next thing you know Kade is married too.
Cassie has an uncanny ability with numbers, remembering and manipulating them. When she is saved by Kade from an unruly drunk, she agrees to show him around town and somehow ends up married to him. Cassie loves the ranch and is loving the animals and figuring how she wants to move on from her life.
Of course, they are going to fall for each other. The story is sweet and quite touching. I love the way they connect and how strong that connection becomes. Chris Keniston’s stories entertain me so much, I would actually love to hang out with the Sweet, except for the fact they are in Texas and there are rattlesnakes. Sweet Tomorrow by Chris Keniston is a good read.
