Fake Dating the Seal by Chris Keniston

Fake Dating the Seal by Chris Keniston is a book in her series called Aloha.  Not surprising is the fact that the books take place on one of the Hawaiian Islands.  The main characters have known each other for a while, but never really connected except in a fleeting acquaintance way.

Kenny Yates is a hot ex-Navy Seal. He is taking some time before deciding what is next in his life.  He decides to hang with a good friend and his family through the holidays, thinking about doing some diving and spending time with friends.

Sara Alani has been the focus of her mother and her mother’s best friend for a while. Both women are determined that Sara needs to find her HEA.  Sara feels pushed and shoved by the two women, so when they start pushing her to Kenny Yates, she speaks up.

Kenny Yates recognizes the problem right away.  Neither of the women are in the least way subtle, so it was hard for him to miss their match making ways.  Kenny and Sara decide to “fake date” each other.  We all know what is going to happen next!

I enjoy Chris Keniston’s books.  They are sweet romances where people treat each other with respect and they talk to each other about their feelings and thoughts.  Yes they do get their happily ever after, but there is always a bit of a snafu that needs to be solved.  Fake Dating the Seal by Chris Keniston is a wonderful read.

The book comes out in late October.   An ARC was given to me by the author and  the opinions in this review are my own.
