Mystic Cove #1- 4 by Tricia O’Malley is a series of four books about a magical cove in Ireland called Mystic Cove. Each of the novels follow a different set of couples as they find each other and their HEA. However it is not easy for them because Magick does abound. Each of the women are descendants of Grace O’Malley, the famous pirate queen, and have a power within them that defies the everyday. Fiona is their rock, teacher and keeper of the knowledge.
Wild Irish Heart is book one. Keelin O’Brien leaves the US to go to Ireland and meet her grandmother Fiona. She wants to learn the secrets of the cove. She meets Flynn, who is a force in his own right. Keelin’s magick is hard for her to learn about as she did not grow up with it as part of her world. Flynn understands more than she does and ends up saving her more than once. They clash wonderfully until they don’t.
Wild Irish Eyes is book two. Cait owns the local pub and has worked hard to make it a successful business even if the building is owned by Shane. Her pub is a hang out place for some in the town and Cait needs to work hard to keep her magick to herself. Shane might own the building, but he loves Cait and wants to have a relationship with her. However Cait is quite prickly and Shane does not deal with her and her secrets well. On top of that Cait’s mother is falling further into a hole of despair and taking it out on her daughter. It is so clear they belong together, if they could just listen to each other.
Wild Irish Soul is book three. Aislinn is an artist. She sees and feels her world in colors and impressions. As an artist she creates in various mediums and can be impulsive with what moves her. Dr Baird Delaney is all science and all logical thought and sequence. Baird struggles to accept Aislinn as she is, magick and all. He can’t quite get his mind around the unscientific process of Grace O’Malley’s kin. Even when the cove threatens him, he is unable to accept what he sees and hears. Too bad Baird needs to decide his feelings and beliefs in order to win Aislinn’s love.
Wild Irish Rebel is book four. Morgan McKenzie has serious trust issues. Her upbringing has led her to be secretive and withdrawn to the world, but here in Mystic Cove, she has begun to feel less different. Patrick sees Morgan across the room and falls instantly for her. Morgan has never been able to trust anyone ever, but now she has a job and an apartment all her own. She is terrified that she will lose everything if she opens up to anyone, even Patrick, who she has feelings for.
Welcome to Mystic Cove where magick and love can be found in the green field and blue waters of the cove. Read one book or all four and you will be drawn into the Wild Irish world. Mystic Cove #1- 4 by Tricia O’Malley are all great reads.
