The Drake Sisters is a series of novels by Christine Feehan. The novels are all based on the Drake Sisters who live in Northern California. They all have special abilities as witches and are all very close. According to family legend, each will marry someone who will be able to enter the locked gate, as the lock will fall off for them. Each of the sisters have different abilities and talents and each will run into a problem and need help. By the way, the house eats people – but only bad people trying to break it! The books all contain some serious HOT scenes with those HOT men.
Magic in the Wind (book 1) focuses on the story of Sarah (the oldest Drake sister) and Damon Wilder. Sarah just moved back home. Damon Wilder just moved to Sea Haven, unfortunately with two men determined to kill him.
Twilight Before Christmas (book 2) is about Kate and Matt Granite. Kate is a famous novelist and has longed for a home of her own. Matt has agreed to help her renovate an old mill for her home. After an earthquake, an old demon was released and Kate and her family need to bind together in order to fight the problem.
Oceans of Fire (book 3) is with Abigail Drake. She has strong ties to the ocean and spends her time with dolphins and whales. When returning from a day with the animals, she witnesses a murder and needs to run – only she runs into Aleksandr Volstov. He is a very dangerous man who is determined to claim her as his own.
Dangerous Tides (book 4) focuses on Libby Drake, a doctor and healer. She has been all over the world to help others. Ty Derrick was saved by her and is now determined to save her. However there is a dangerous person, an admirer, a man of influence. Now Ty is all about taking care of Libby.
Safe Harbors (book 5) is about Hannah Drake. She is a famous model and has always felt picked on by the sheriff, Jones Harrington. She didn’t understand that even though the Drake sisters grew up with Jones, he does not have sisterly feelings for Hannah. Hannah has a stalker, someone who wants to destroy her. Again the Drakes band together, with Jones’s help to protect Hannah and their home.
Turbulent Seas (book 6) introduces us to Joley Drake and her wonderful personality and music. She is much sought after and seems to have attracted a notorious mobster. However, it is the Russian bodyguard, Ilya Prakenskii who ends up helping Joley stay safe.
Hidden Currents (book 7) is the last book. It focuses on Elle, the youngest and most treasured of the sisters. According to their legend, Elle will have 7 daughters who will each continue on with the magic of the Drakes. Only Elle doesn’t make it home andSheriff Jackson Deveau has to go in and help save her.
