The Lark Cove Series by Devney Perry

The Lark Cove Series contains five books. All the books are based in Lark Cove – one way or another. It is focused on a family, one made of hearts not always blood. Each book addresses another character and the story of meeting and falling in love with their person.

Tattered is the first book and it focuses on Theo Landry and Logan Kendrick. The story contains enough background to allow you to understand the characters and where they came from. The story more importantly allows you to recognize the strong bonds of a family by heart not by blood.

Book two is called Timid and that is what one main character is. Willa Doon is shy and seems to fade into the woodwork as far as Jackson Paige is concerned. Until the day when Jackson suddenly starts to see Willa, but he has quite a bit of groveling to do. Add in Jackson’s past coming to visit him and leaving him with an unexpected brother and the story pulls you in deeper.

Kaine Reynolds and Piper Campbell are the main characters in the third book of Tragic. Piper works for Logan and decides to move to Lark Cove to help run his office from there. Kaine is her reclusive, grouchy, but very, very hot neighbor with a tragic past. Piper and Kaine are good together except for when the past rears its ugly head.

The fourth book is called Tinsel and it is about Logan’s sister Sophia. She doesn’t seem to have the same interests in business that the other Kendricks do. Theo asks Sophia to help out for a week working at the bar. Sophia struggles to work there, but Dakota is determined to help her learn.

Timeless is the last book in the series. It is about finding your person, no matter what they do for a living. Aubrey Kendrick and Landon McClellan are the main characters. Aubrey is not easy and prickles at everything. Landon is determined and laid back. Together they find their way forward.

Each novel wraps up independently and can be a read alone. We are left however not knowing what will happen with Charlie, so maybe another book is coming. Meanwhile, I enjoyed each novel!
