A Season of Secrets by Fern Michaels is a Christmas novel that allows the reader to celebrate family. The novel is going to be published this month from a backlog of her works. The plot line includes some surprising coincidences and celebrations.
Unknown to each other until about ⅓ of the way through the book, Ashley and Emma are twins. One raised in America and one raised in England. Both characters are interesting characters with their determination and drive to study. I found everyone likable and somewhat relatable. What I didn’t find was a well written story. The story seemed formulaic and lacked a clear voice. This is the second book I read from Fern Michael’s backlog that I felt was missing something. A Season of Secrets by Fern Michaels was an okay read.
